They celebrated one another, said their vows in a stunning Cotswolds Church and partied until the small hours. They asked me to capture their event for them and this is their story.

Cat and George travelled from the London to celebrate their stunning wedding day in the heart of the Cotswolds. I know where the light is best throughout the day which makes it ideal for couple’s portrait sessions. George drove to and from their ceremony in a vintage Porsche and gave me the opportunity to capture some amazing shots of them enjoying a car ride together. The afternoon and evening ensured a brilliant party with fantastic music and singers that brought the party vibes during dinner and beyond.

Bridal Prep at Norton Grounds

Cat arrived at Norton Grounds with her bridal party the evening before their event and stayed in one of the many beautifully restored Cotswolds buildings onsite. Intimate ceremonies at St James Church, Chipping Camden

Cat and George’s special day began with a romantic ceremony in the epic St James’ Church, Chipping Camden. The Anglican Church of St James was built in the 15th century incorporating an earlier Norman Church which dates back to 1180. Watching Cat walk down the aisle with her father was a sight to behold as they were back dropped by the churches 119-foot tower.

Surrounded by stunning blossom trees in the courtyard, Cat and George made their way through a shower of confetti back to their vintage Porsche. They drove through the picturesque streets of Chipping Camden and back to Norton Grounds for their private reception.

Reception at Norton Grounds

Their guests arrived back at Norton Grounds to enjoy canapes and a drinks reception on the lawn. In front of the beautiful Farmhouse, guests relax surrounded by careful presented gardens, shaded by mature willow trees.

While guests were treated to an amazing wedding breakfast, I took Cat and George for their couple shoot, taking full advantage of the stunning grounds. The entertainment was in full swing during dinner with guests and our couple dancing their way through the meal.

As the sun began to set on their day, we ventured out once more for more softly lit couples’ portraits. Allowing Cat and George a short escape form the crowds to reconnect with one another on their highly anticipated and well-crafted event.
